We drove directly to the Thompson house....picked up Mike and went to Grimaldi's Pizzeria in San Tan Village.
We ordered a large pizza…one half with Fresh Garlic…one
half Pepperoni. It was delicious. And, most of you know how I love thin crust…this
was perfect.
As a starter Mike ordered the Bruschetta Trio…we had
several different choices…we ordered one Marinated Mushroom and Roasted Red
Pepper…one Classice Tomato and Basil…and one Marinated Artichoke.
This restaurant is part of an American pizzeria chain from the New York
City area with several restaurants throughout the United States

I also visited the Grimaldi's in Scottsdale with Joshua, Jody and Judson Hayes on November 7, 2008.
We
tried the large pizza with meatballs, Italian sausage and extra basil…and a side
of anchovies for , Jody and I. It
was delicious…and what I liked was that the crust was thin. I have never had a meatball pizza before but
I liked it.
Jody
ordered this Mediterrean Salad but she shared with
me…and it was delicious…lots of Feta cheese, Romaine lettuce, Tomatoes, Kalamata Olvies, Red Onion, Vinaigrette dressing... the dressing was tangy but very tasty.
