Breakfast at the Cafe Dupont - March 20, 2014

I spent March 19 - March 23, 2014 in Washington, D. C.  I traveled with Cindy Smith to the National Association of Community Health Center Association to attend this organization's annual conference.  We stayed at The DuPont Circle Hotel. 


The most wonderful café was tucked into the hotel named the Café Dupont.  We decided to eat breakfast at the café the morning of March 20th.


We both decided to try the Bananas Rum French Toast with Pecans.  OMG!  We were served two pieces of Banana Bread French Toast.  Between the two thick slices was a mashed banana rum mixture with full pieces of pecans.  It was served with fresh fruit…blueberries…strawberries and blackberries….and slices of crisp bacon.


It was delicious...to die for...and not too sweet as long as you dump all of the maple syrup on the French Toast.
