Dinner at the Cafe Dupont - Washington, D. C. - March 22, 2014

Saturday night was a terrible night to venture out for dinner without reservations so once again we decided to try the Café Dupont for dinner.

I chose the Risotto – squash risotto caramelized onions, dried cranberries, pickled Brussels sprouts.  It was delicious.  It had a sweet taste but not too sweet.  The cranberries gave it a delicious crunch ..to the very moist risotto.  It was even more tasty than the risotto that I ate in the town of Bellagio on Lake Como.  It was my favorite up until this meal.

Cindy ordered the Chicken – leek and potato mousse, bread dumpling, brussel sprouts.
