Jo ordered the Brisket plate with cole slaw and cheesy potatoes. Jan ordered the Brisket Sandwich with Cheesy Potatoes. I ordered the Ribs plate with Cheesy Potatoes and Jalapeno Corn.
My ribs were hearty and barbequed quite well. Each rib was thick with meat that tasted a lot like ham. It was easy for me to put a little BBQ sauce on them because it tasted perfect....not really sweet....not hot...just an easy...light sauce.
Cheesy Potatoes were mashed potatoes with lots of cheese. It was a very creamy mixture of the potatoes and cheese. One big scoop of these delightful cheesy potatoes were put on each plate.
I also chose the Jalapeno Corn....these huge kernals of corn didn't have a bite at all...was quite sweet.
